Samanta Lacayo Trujillo is the founder of the Centro de Desarrollo Integral para la Vejez, a center where aging adults can prepare for retirement. Centro de Desarrollo Integral para la Vejez also offers training for caregivers who want to specialize in the care of elders. Samanta currently works at the Consultorio Psicológico Integral as a psychologist. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Universidad Centroamericana.
Samanta spent 4 weeks at the Presidential Precinct through the Young Leadership of the Americas Initiative (YLAI). YLAI brings dynamic young entrepreneurs from 10 countries in the Latin America and Caribbean region for “entrepreneur-in-residence” placements with some of Charlottesville’s leading small businesses, startups, and nonprofit organizations.
