Admasu Kidewa is focused on inter-ethnic conflict resolution within pastoralist groups in Ethiopia.

Admasu spent 6 weeks at the Presidential Precinct as a Mandela Washington Fellow. The Mandela Washington Fellowship is the flagship program of President Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), which empowers young people through academic coursework, leadership training, and networking.
